Machinery Breakdown:
In the event of Machinery Breakdown, Hayden Lloyd & Assoc., can assist you with most items of Plant and Machinery breakdowns, our services include onsite attendance, inspection, assessment, testing, arrange repairs, and replacement upon approval from underwriters.
Alternatively, if your client has already conducted urgent repairs, we are able to review the repairer’s reports and invoices to ensure that there has been no betterment, or upgrade during this process. We can also collect any damaged components from a repairer and provide you with a detailed report of testing, and confirm if the replacement was appropriate.

Desktop Assessment Procedures:

  1. Insurance company send us a completed assessment request form.
  2. A HLA engineer/agent or third party repairer will attend to the claim within 1 working day.
  3. They will check that the claim is valid.
  4. HLA will liaise with both the assessment teams and the insured to discuss the finer details.
  5. They will then recommend the repair or replacement, after liaison with the repairer, according to which is more economical.
  6. If the item is repaired, HLA will liaise with the repairer to ensure our quality standard.
  7. If the item is replaced, HLA will recommend a replacement item equivalent in features, functions and quality.
  8. Following this, HLA will write a report to the insurance company with its recommendations and reasons for the recommendation.
  9. Following instructions from the insurance company, HLA can organize a repair or replacement..

HLA has fostered good relationship with CID Motor Squad and we have recovered several stolen motor vehicles for insurance companies. We continue to liase with the CID Motor Squad on a regular basis on outstanding stolen motor vehicles.

Stolen Motor Recovery

Project Management:
In the event of Major Claims, HLA are experienced in planning and managing multiple projects, with many different service providers at your client’s site. This can include cleaning, salvage, compiling of schedules of loss, labelling, testing and sourcing of quotations for repairs. Other services include de-commissioning, commissioning and acceptance testing following restoration and repair.
We can also manage a fire claim removal of debris and quantify loss and salvage what that has economical value.

In the event of a total or major loss situation, HLA are experienced in managing property restoration and salvage.

Demolition and Scrap Management:

In the event of a major or total loss situation, HLA are experienced in managing property demolition, with the sorting and disposal of scrap material. This includes all building materials, metals, asbestos and other hazardous goods including chemicals.

Underwriting Risk Surveys:
We also have expertise is carrying out Underwriting Property Risk Surveys and Risk Recommendations.
We provide this service to help underwriters make proper evaluation on risk that are to be insured.We use advanced technology equipment to do our assessements-FLIR camera and DJI aerial vehicle photography and video.
